Historical Society and History Center

The Little Canada Historical Society was founded in 1977. The Society operated out of a small closet at Little Canada City Hall, and held its meetings in the Council Chambers. In 1990 the Society moved to a back room of the old fire barn (approximately 200 square feet). In 1998 the Society moved into its newly constructed state of the art History Center attached to City Hall (approximately 2,000 square feet).

 Individual annual .................... $8.00
  Individual Lifetime .............. $100.00
  Senior Lifetime (over 60) ...... $50.00

History Center Hours & Location

9:00 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays
6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday evenings
Other times by arrangement

Directions from downtown St. Paul:

Drive north on Interstate 35E exiting at Little Canada Road. Turn right (east) on Little Canada Road, proceed about one-half mile, driving past St. John's Church, and cemetery. The History Center is located on the left (north) side of the road. The History Center is attached to the Little Canada City Hall. You may be able to miss City Hall and the History Center, but you can't miss the water tower located next to the parking lot for City Hall and the History Center.

Meetings

The Society meets on the third Thursday of January, April, July, and October.
