My Favorite Inspiration
Rain…
So clear and yet so gray,
Misty eye comes my way;
I remember way back when the sun would shine on every day.
The wind keeps blowing very hard; it tries to shake where I shine.
The sun keeps fighting off and on; the war won’t last too very long.
I close my eyes the rain it’s coming;
I feel her on my face; she’s hitting all my rays.
So cold…
So important to my life,
So precious, and so dear.
She’s the balance and content; for everything I touch I burn.
The wind was calm, but now it’s howling.
I wonder if it’ll go away without a warning?
The rain, it’s you my dear;
The sun, it’s I;
The wind, the love between us
That hopefully won’t die.
