A DOLLHOUSE IN THE MAKING
Plus!  The furkids in my family!  Pugs and more!
I started building this house myself  but the Doll family wasn't happy with the fact that I allowed "wild" animals onto the property.  So...
...the Doll family decided to take over and build the house themselves.
Mom is working on inside of 2nd floor french doors while Dad finishes up outside.   Grandmom is inside watching the twins while Grandad helps his son-in-law.
My youngest pug, 12 week old MaryBernice, checking out the view from the front porch of this Victorian Mansion by Duracraft.
Mom, Dad & Grandad putting in the 2nd floor bay windows.  There is one large room there, but we will partition it off so that we can build a bathroom with a door that closes!  There will be space too, for a sitting room next to the master bedroom.
Same job, view from inside.  Grandma & the twins watching from frenchdoors in what will be the Master Bedroom.
This house came with the material to make windows and doors that are very flimsy and quite unattractive, but we've plowed on.  This is our first experience building a dollhouse!
Salem is wondering who these tiny people are and why he got in trouble for trying to "play" with them!!!
A well deserved rest break from working on the 2nd floor!

I couldn't decide if I should put the stairs in facing the back of the house as the directions said, or if I should turn them round so they'd be visible through the big windows.  That's what I decided to do, but in the end I had to turn them back so it would be easier to add extra walls to divide up the cavernous spaces.
Cleaning the new bay windows on the 2nd floor.  What a process to build them!  There was a lot of nipping and tucking going on to make these windows fit in the space!

Here we have Mom, Dad & Grandad working on the trim around the windows.  This will cover all those unsightly gaps!
