CODA provies Acadademic copies of FINALE to dealers at a reduced cost, so we at The Really Loud Font Company are able to pass it along to you the consumer at a reduced price. In turn, dealer's must provide documentation to CODA which verifies that each academic copy has been purchased by a qualified individual or institution.

Are the Academic copies of FINALE the same version as the Retail product? What version?

Yes, The Really Loud Font Company is currently shipping FINALE 2000 for Windows and Macintosh in both Academic are Retail editions.

Who qualifies to purchase these specially priced copies of FINALE?

Both individuals and institutions may purchase reduced price copies of FINALE. Inasmuch as each copy's registration card must match the purchaser's name as submitted to Coda by the Really Loud Font Company, your order should make clear whether an individual or institution will be registering your copy of FINALE.

Qualified institutions include:	Colleges Universities Pre-College Schools (K-12) Churches, Syhnagogues, and other religious institutions
Qualified individuals include:	Faculty Members College Students Music Ministers and Music Ministry representatives Private Music Teachers

What conditions and restrictions apply to individuals purchasing Academic copies of FINALE? What documentation must be provided to purchase Academic / Theological FINALE?

If you are a:	You MUST be:	And MUST provide:
College, University, or Seminary	Fully Accredited and non-profit, with degree granting programs.	An institutional purchase order, institutional check or photocopy of your institutional credit card.
Pre-College School (K-12 in the US)	Fully Accredited and non-profit.	An institutional purchase order, institutional check or photocopy of your institutional credit card.
Faculty Member	Currently teaching at a college, university, seminary or pre-college school as defined above.	A current dated photo ID issued by the school that employs you or another photo ID and a letter verifying current employment on original school letterhead from the school's administration.
College Student	Currently enrolled or accepted into a degree program at a college, university or seminary as defined above.	A current dated photo ID issued by the school you attend or another photo ID and a current fee statement or letter of acceptance.
Church, Synagogue, Music Minister or Music Ministry representative	Non-profit with a separate house of worship or currently employed by a church or other religious institution.	Proof of non-profit status and tax-exempt number and a letter on official letterhead defining the buyer as the church's official representative.
Private Music Teacher	A current member of the MTNA.	Proof of your current membership: MTNA membership card or MTNA letter of acceptance.

Are there any other limits on the purchase of Academic / Theological editions of FINALE?

Yes:

• individuals may purchase only one (1) Academic/Theological edition.
• Institutions may purchase more than one Academic/Theological edition but only for internal use.
• Academic/Theological editions of FINALE may not be purchased for resale to others.
• Academic/Theological editions of FINALE are for the use of the original purchaser only and may not be transferred to others.
• The original purchaser must complete and submit the warranty card enclosed with FINALE to qualify for technical support and upgrade privileges.
• Both the Registration Card and the Really Loud Font Company's documentation of the Academic/Theological sale must match the identification of the original purchaser to qualify for support.
