Higway
Brethren,

Please put the following information in your newsletters, etc, and remind the readers in February, May and October.  We certainly don't want this program to be cancelled due to lack of interest.

Adopt-A-Highway Program

RWB Noel P. Rogers, Jr. DDGM2, has announced that the Highway clean-up under the Adopt-A-Highway Program administered by the South Carolina Department of Transportation has set the dates for clean-up in 2003.

They are:
February 15th,
May 17th and
October 18th

from 9 to 11 AM.  Masons and families wishing to participate, and we hope there will be many, should gather at the Scottish Rite Center at 8:30 AM for briefing, issuance of safety vests, equipment, bags, etc.
We suggest you bring  your own gloves because the supply is limited, and something to assist you in picking up the trash, such as a lever operated picker with jaws on the business end, available at hardware and home stores, such as Lowe’s and Home Depot. We have sticks with nails available.
This is one of the most worthwhile two hours we can spend on a Saturday morning and it lets the community that Masons do care about our environment.  Maybe we can set a good example for others to follow.  Now, that’s a novel idea, huh?
Come early enough to enjoy a cup of coffee (Pepsi) and doughnut with the other brethren present.
If the doc wont let you work outside then stay inside for the fellowship
See Ya there
