Building A Better Community
"Building
A
Better
Community"
I  would like to introduce myself to you.  I am Kristen Hilliard, a junior at Auburn University.  I have been engaged in volunteer services since the age of 5.  Through volunteering I have gained personal satisfaction, met many new people, learned new skills, found new challenges and made a difference in my community.

Volunteers contribute 225 billion dollars in value to their communities throughout the country.  In Shelby County, 7.1 percent of the residents live below poverty level.  They need our help.  You can be a part of that contribution.
