C-10 CONCOURS DRIVING LIGHT MOUNT
Turn night into day and update your Concours lighting to exceed most new cars and motorcycles with this rally/LD proven mount and your favorite driving lights (Hella FF-200's shown). You will not believe how much safer you will feel when riding at night with real driving lights. Remember, night vision acuity declines with age, and good lighting offsets this tremendously. Driving lights also make excellent Daytime Running Lights (DRL's) for outstanding conspicuity, especially at intersections and in moving traffic. You may want to read some of my other thoughts on conspicuity elsewhere on this site.
I developed this mount after using the mirror mounted units, which allowed the lights to shake too much, due to the structure of the upper fairing on the Concours. Also, lights mounted above the horizontal centerline of the headlight, or over 42" from the road are illegal for highway use in many, if not most areas of the country. I considered a manufacturing a mount horizontally located along the top of the oil cooler, but the lights are too low to be considered driving lights. This location might be suitable for fog lights however.
This mount is constructed of stainless steel and steel components, that are mounted to the fairing structure (not the plastic) to provide a rock-solid installation. No cutting or drilling is required. The stainless steel light bar extends about 3/4" beyond the lights to help protect them and the upper fairing in the event of a non-moving, tipover. Over 22 steps go into making of this high quality mount, and the components are finished in gloss, black powdercoat for lifetime good looks. Part # C-02109. Price: $100.00

Hella FF-200 Driving Light Set
As shown above on the BST driving light mount. Each light utilizes a 55 watt, H-3 bulb, 110 watts total. Includes: on/off switch, stone covers and complete harness with relay. The pattern of these driving lights, as opposed to projector or pencil beam types, provides both exceptional illumination to the sides as well as down the road. You effectively outrun the stock Concours low beam at about 40 MPH, and the high beam at 60 MPH. Hella FF-200 driving lights will give you the confidence you need to enjoy night riding. Part # : C-02112. Price: $ 155.00, delivered.

Hella, Compact 4000 HID Lights
I have installed these lights on a C-10 Concours. They are the ultimate for the rider that wants the best in long distance lighting. Bigger is better when it comes to night lighting. If you are interested in these lights, contact me directly with any questions you may have and a price quotation. Full specifications are available at Hella's website. Pictures of the installation can be seen here.

Buck Sport Touring - Watt Saver
This is a must-have accessory for any Kawasaki Concours equipped with Hella FF-200, or similar, high performance driving lights, especially if these lights serve as
daytime running lights (DRL's) for conspicuity. It will also free up wattage for electric clothing and electric grips.
The installation of this kit will turn the low beam headlight off when the driving lights are used, thus saving 55 watts (more, if you have a higher wattage bulb). The use of the Concours' low beam, with properly aimed Hella FF-200 or similar, high quality driving lights, adds little to the overall lighting of the road or to the sides. These lights exceed headlights on many automobiles.
When you are not using the driving lights, the low beam is available as normal. The use of the high beam circuit is not affected. This kit DOES NOT control the high beam curcuit when the driving lights are on or off, only the low beam circuit.
Order part number: C-02115. Price: $38.50, delivered.
