CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS
Tailbrights
"Don't even start your bike until you install them. They are a Must Have item for the ST. Tailbrights are extremely reflective decals that apply to the saddle bags. They are black and blend into the bags until light hits them. Then they glow white very brightly."
"....for anyone that has not yet gotten your Tailbrites (sp), order them! I put mine on the ST yesterday and couldn't believe the way they light the back end of the bike when the light hits them. This is the best money I have spent on the bike yet. A great, cheap, easy to install safety feature. I would never have another bike without them. Ride safe..........."
"Thank you for developing such a great product for increased motorcycle safety"
"Thanks for a fine product. Installation went flawlessly as the instructions provided all the information necessary in a concise, well thought out manner. I feel much better about the visibility of the bike with a product that won't break, lose electrical contact, or break off a tenuous attachment location. Thanks again.
"If someone hits me from behind now, they must be blind"
"I received the Tailbrights set yesterday at noon and hurried away to install them. GREAT product! Everybody loves it! I posted a message on a Yahoo, ST 1300 message board about them. You deserve it man, excellent product, excellent service."
"I bought a set online for my St1300 and I received it - in Spain - in just under a week since I placed my order. I have them installed and it is absolutely fantastic."
"Looks good. Works great! Anyone in S. Florida (Boca Raton) should get to meet Larry. Sincere, and a pleasure to deal with."
"The "Tailbrights" package just came in. Everything looks great & certainly helpful for illumination. Thanks a bunch for your quick reply & problem solving. I plan to purchase your Stainless Fasteners in the near future for my '05 Connie. Your products really are the best, as is your service after the sale. I will be recommending you to all my riding buddies."
Concours Dash Shelf
"The dash shelf provides all kinds of great possibilities."
"I got my Concours shelf a few weeks ago and am really impressed with how you engineered it. Thick, strong metal, formed exactly right to bolt in place, and good paint (powder coating - ed). I was most impressed by the way you provided a drill bit and metric tap to drill and tap the bottom of bikes's brass inserts that secure the windshield. Very clever.
"The shelf now has a fused power block and two Heat-trollers mounted to the bottom. On top is a RAM mount for a GPS V and a mount I made for a Chatterbox radio. On the front panels, I installed the control knobs for the Heat-trollers, the SAE connector for an electric vest and a clock/voltmeter/thermometer. Only four wires with a quick disconnect go to the shelf."
"The installation got road tested last weekend up into the Rockies and will be on the road to Hyder, Alaska tomorrow at 4:00 A.M."
"Thanks for the good product."
ZG-BARS
"Got the bars yesterday, and installed them straightaway. Feels like a new bike! Having you machine the bars was one of the best moves I've done. Thanks again!
ST-1300 Touring Pegs
"My pegs arrived yesterday evening and look good, thank you. The instructions are clear."
ST-1300 Dash Shelf
"I like the sturdyness of the Buck shelf because I have a Streetpilot, Ski Fi, Antenna and the photo sensor for the Kisan headlight modulator. I also like how the Buck shelf looks when you look at it while sitting on the bike. The design makes it easy to see all your instruments....I am rather pleased with it."
"The shelf is made from steel and is laser cut and powder coated so that the edges are completely smooth. The mounting brackets are made from 3/16" aluminum and the nuts and bolts are stainless steel. When looking at the shelf on the bike, it looks like it was made for the bike and not an added-on item. I think Honda would be proud."
"When the shelf is attached to the bike it becomes part of the bike and is rock solid. The mounting points are all to metal using existing holes. I am working on adding my Street Pilot III and Valentine V-1+ to the shelf."
Driving light mount and Hella lights
"Hey Larry, I have your light bar & dash shelf on my Concours. I did an IBA ride out to Arizona last week from Texas and got caught in that ice storm. I dumped the bike twice, yes twice, and the light bar held up GREAT. In fact the only damagein both low-speed dumps was my right mirror. I did bang up the plastic tips on the end of the bar. No biggie, easily replaced."
"Hi, Larry. I wanted to send you a quick message to tell you how very pleased I am with the driving light mount and watt saver kit I recently purchased from you. I have had the opportunity to use these fine accessories with Hella FF-200's mounted, and this setup truly does turn night into day."
"It's one of those 'you got no idea how good it can be 'til you try it' kinda things."
"Get driving lights. GOOD ones."
"Once you ride with some, you'll wonder how you EVER rode without them. I honestly feel you should not do without them if you do any amount of rural night riding to speak of at all. The amount of safety buffer they provide from not only animals butt just regular nighttime riding conditions simply cannot be overstated."
"And, while having maximum reachoutness is kewl, I myself prefer to aim mine slightly downwards. I may lose a bit of distance butt I am also able to use them alot more without blinding oncoming traffic."
"And before anyone says, "Oh butt I got the harness or THAT upgraded headlight bulb or "blahdeblahdeblah". Trust Me!(tm). There is not a bike headlight on God's green earth that will not pale next to a set of decent driving lights. It also doesn't cost much for the massive amount of added safety. A set of vastly superior Hella FF-200's are only around $150 or so, including the full kit of relay, harness, lights, and switch; and our bikes will easily handle the Hellas, an electric vest and any other "personal" electronics you might desire."
"Please folks, if you do ANY rural night riding to speak of, Pahleese consider a set.
You can't avoid the danger you can't see."
"I just installed your light bar with some Hella 500 lights and all I can say is WOW! The bar is rock solid and now with the driving lights it is like the sun just came up! Thanks for a GREAT product! Can't wait to try them out in the South Texas hill country, should be much safer dodging all the deer at night. Thanks again!"
"Larry, I Installed the Driving Light Mount & Hella Light Kit and now I wonder, what did I do without them. Thanks."
"Thank you!! Great service!!!!! I hung the driving light brackets last night - no problems - your instuctions are very concise."
"Having mounted a pair of Hella driving lights on one of Larry Buck's mounts just before leaving, I spent some time getting them adjusted to throw light where it would do the most good. It was immediately obvious that they were a good investment, as I was able to see well enough to keep my speed up even though I was in moose country."
"Your driving light mount was more than I expected. Super quality, perfect fit and easy installation."
"Next, a Clearview windshield followed by a killer driving light assembly (engineered by Larry Buck) which solidly held my new 55-watt Hella's like a match made in heaven." Utah 1088 article in Wing World Magazine.
"I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the great upgrades for my Concours. Everything has worked out just great, with the help of Jeff Hickey, at CastleCycles, there in Leland, NC."
Helmet Lock Relocation Brackets
"Just like the locks themselves, they keep the honest people honest and, at the least, allow you to use the dern things. They are worth it to me. Having had them for 4 years or so, I can say they look as good as new too."
ZG-Bars
"The handlebar risers and setbacks (ZG-Bars) have really improved my comfort, and the mount for the Hella FF-200's provides a tremendous margin of safety on night rides. Will ride the Concours in the Palmetto Ramble, and really give it a workout."
"I don't normally call a supplier about their products but I have to compliment you on your ZG-Bars. They were very well done and professionally finished. I rode 285 miles yesterday, which I was never able to do before without alot of pain. I could have ridden another 285 miles. Thanks!"
