Here is my very first attempt at gourd painting! I started growing gourds 2 years ago and quickly got hooked! This is one of my gourds that I grew and I just knew that it would make a great santa. I used a pattern from the book "Simply Gourd-geous again" by Chris Stokes and I added a few of my own ideas.

These small Santas' were painted on small dried spoon gourds that I grew in my very first gourd garden. I added a cord for hanging on the christmas tree and gave them away for christmas presents.
