What is the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls?

The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is a non-profit, service organization for girls between the ages of 11 and 20. The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls will help girls develop self-confidence, self-respect, self-control, and laedership skills. The girls will learn about charity, hope, and service through their work and involvement in their community, church, school, and assembly. The purpose of this organization is to promote effective community and leadership skills, and most importantly, service to humanity, while at the same time the girls will enjoy fun activites such as slumber parties, going to the park, ice cream socials, going to camp, and much more. We aslo hold fundraisers to help benefit our assembly, local charities, and our scholarship and loan and camp funds. Through our organization girls can recieve scholarships and loans as added financial assistance toward their education. Rainbow is NOT a religious organization, but does, however, encourage girls to have a belief in the supreme being.
