Called by his long-suffering father 'The CyberBrat Out Of Hell", Luke is a thirteen-year-old from small town Georgia who writes about his life, growing up, and constant misadventures with perception and wry humor. You can think of Luke as a kind of Tom Sawyer with a high speed modem.
Any typical, ineffectual, anal, misguided child psychologist or wannabe expert on adolescents would describe him as a youngster who is simply "working through major issues in his life"; his teachers hope that the authorities will throw him into a juvenile lock-up until after his eighteenth birthday or forever. Luke is the only studention a special, secret 'hit list file' at the headquarters of the Georgia Department of Education.
His father is a firm believer in what might be called 'old-fashioned discipline' to keep the lad on the reasonably straight and narrow. Old "Pop" does not recognize Political Correctness as legitimate concept. Dear Old Dad is the only person Luke has yet encountered who is as stubborn and hard-headed as is he.
