Hi my name is Ashley Stribling I started AshLaur Shelties. I currently show, breed and train shelties. I also have two horses ( photos are below- the black one is mine the spotted is my mother's horse that I show for her). I have been showing dogs since I was 7 years old; I started in Junior showmanship with a blue merle sheltie stud that was owned by my mother. I also started training shelties when I was 7.
Now I am a professional dog groomer and just grad. from West Virginia State University on May 21,2006. I grad. with honors and received a bac. in Business Mangement and a minor in economics. I am a member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America, The White Shetland Sheepdog Association, and the West Virginia Shetland Sheepdog Assocation. I am also a member of my local obedience club- KOTC. Furthermore I am a member of a number of other associations: like the American Pet dog Trainers. I am also certified in pet first aid/CPR and in Canine Message Level 1.

Gigolo- Gigolo's Big Shot
Black Tennesse Walking Horse gelding also registered Racking Horse. He is truly the love of my life. He was the 2yr old World Reserve Grand Champion and has won many ribbons in both trail and country pleasure for me. I am the woman pictured in the one photo with him and the other photo is of Gigolo at a horse show being rode by his trainer Colt Knight.
