Friendships Last Forever
Care for a cup of coffee,
or a cup of tea?
Perhaps a glass of Lemonade,
as we chat, just you and me.
Tell me how you're feeling,
are you having a good day?
Has this lovely summer sunshine
brought good thoughts your way?
Or do you have a problem
you would like to share?
Sometimes just to verbalize
makes things easier to bear.
Do you have a secret
weighing heavy on your mind?
Feel free to share your burdens
... or your thoughts of any kind.
I will honor any confidence
and Judge you ... I would never!
For I consider you my friend,
and Friendships last forever.
