I am currently not making any new bears or taking any new orders as I am busy being a full time Mommy
Thank you for your interest in my bears, however I am sorry to say that I am currently not making any new bears or taking any new orders.  Our family is very very busy with our twins Avery Faith and Noah Patton who were born September 17th 2005 and our daughter Michaelyn Grace who was born September 5th 2003.  I am hopeful that as our family grows I will find time to create my bears once again, but for now being a mommy is an amazing and full time job (a non stop job is a more accurate description).  It is very difficult to even find the time to get on the internet, which is why this news update is a year late, so if you are waiting for an e-mail response I apoligise for the delay, many messages get missed.  I am working on completing the orders that are over due so I thank you for yor patience and understanding.  Here is a photo of our three little ones that was taken July 2006, you can see why I am such a proud and busy mommy!
My bears and I are very happy you came to visit us here at PAWSIBLY YOURS?  I just thought I would tell you a little about myself, how I found the wonderful world of teddy bears, and why I started creating my own bears.  When you are done reading about us, the bears and I hope you will take a peek around our website, and have fun!!
It really began a long time ago.   I have always been extremely attached to  my dolls, stuffed animals, and various other furry friends.  I have never had a shortage of toys to play with (thanks to my mom and dad), and I guess you could say some of my best friends were toys.  As I started to get older, I never really abandoned my toys, as so many young people do.  I could not bring myself to stuff those childhood companions into closets or boxes, after all, could you shove your friends into a box and forget about them?  I even found myself collecting more and more, and if it weren't for sympathy for my hubby, my bedroom would look like it belonged to a 7 year old!  My mom and I loved to go to doll shows, and create various crafts.  It was at a doll show that I learned of the first Calgary Bear Fair.  We attended the show, and I was fascinated by, and fell in love with, all the beautiful artist bears I saw.  Because I was only in high school at the time, I did not have the funds to adopt a teddy bear, so I opted for a pattern instead, and  learned to make my own special bear.  I had done a lot of crafting and sewing before, but had never found a hobby that kept my interest, until I saw the sweet face of the first bear I created.  I was hooked!  For the next few years I made teddy bears from patterns.  I didn't want to wreck any expensive mohair, so I took a teddy bear design workshop that gave me the courage to design the bears of my dreams.  That was in 1995 and I have been designing and creating bears ever since.
One of the best things about creating bears is the response from the bears new owners.  It makes me feel good knowing that my creations will make many people happy, for generations to come.  I enjoy creating bears of all types.  I make miniatures to full size bears in realistic, contemporary, antique, and just plain cuddly styles.  Because the style of bear I am into making changes constantly, I feel I explore all areas of bear making, and gain valuable skills neccesary to make the highest quality bears.
I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with my hubby Mike, our beautiful little daughter Michaelyn (mi-kay-lyn), our sweet twins Avery and Noah, our puppy, and kitty.  With the kiddos keeping me busy around the house my bears are very very slow to be born.  Although I create each bear myself, I get all kinds of help and support in the business areas of bear making from my family.  We live quite close to the Rocky Mountains, and we love to take trips to look for real bears (from the car only of course).  I love real bears and they are a great inspiration for me.  Without bears there would be no teddy bears, and what a sad world that would be!
Adoption day is anxiously awaited at the den, each teddy bear hoping to find their special someone. When your eyes meet, that tender heart pitter-patters and prays: "pick me".  Are you soul-mates?  Is this little one "Pawsibly Yours?"

Unless otherwise noted, all of the bears on my site must be made to order as the originals have already been adopted.  If you place an order, I will do my best to create the same look on your new bear, and you can request a photo of your bear to be sent to you by e-mail to approve before shipping.

All of my bears are created using the finest materials, including mohair, alpaca, or high quality German synthetic fur.  They are stuffed using polyfil, with glass and plastic pellets for that alive feeling.  They see the world through shining glass eyes.  All of the bears are fully jointed with discs, and locnuts and bolts or cotter-pins.  Some are wobble jointed for extra floppy cuddles!  Foot pads are made from ultrasuede or wool felt, and noses are embroidered using Pearl Cotton.  Any materials different from the above will be noted in the bears description.

*Some outfits and accessories may vary due to availability, please contact me for details.

All prices are in U.S. Dollars and shipping is extra, usually between $10 and $15 U.S.
