"Rockee" (2-8-1993 TO 2-27-2006)

Rockee had to be released when he started having some serious problems related to age. He finally stopped eating and I knew it was bad because that dog didn't miss a meal for anything. I had noticed that he became quieter during meal time for a while (he always barked and made a fuss when he knew the food was ready). It was not a happy time when I took him in and we did every test on him & took him home. Within a few days he went even further downhill and the vet checked him again and she confirmed what I knew, it was time to let him go. He was 13 years old so he lived a long life. :o)

"Maya" (6-29-1993 TO 10-14-2005)

Maya had to be put down due to a brain tumor that finally got to her. She spent a couple of months going in & out of a daze. She would be fine and playing or getting her cookie (which she never missed) one day and then she would just stand in the middle of the room or in a corner the next. She seemed like she was unsure of where she was at times. It was sad to watch but it didn't seem to hurt her. Finally she had a seizure and at the vets she had a couple more and we made the sad decision to release her with our vet's definite approval.

"Ebony"
Mayas Witchcraft of Cayman

My understanding is that she was attacked by another (unrelated) bitch that she lived with and had to be put down due to the severity of the attack. I am very sad for my darling Ebony and even though she didn't live with me I feel the pain of her loss deep in my heart. She is the first of my dogs to pass on and I know her family will miss her very much.

Scott "Scott"

I didn't own Scott but I adored him! He was one of the best producers that I have known, all of his kids are very consistent. He was a teddy bear and all of my own kids out of him have the best temperaments around.
He was the pride and joy of Sydney & Doug Brown of Cayman Boxers.
He will live in our hearts forever!

"Precious" (6-82 to 8-00) - She was a sweet, small white cat that was born in 1982 in Hawaii. She chased other cats off of her property and was tough when it came to the dogs. We had to put her down due to old age complications.

Prayer For Animals by Saint Francis of Assisi
God Our Heavenly Father, You created the world to serve humanity's needs and to lead them to You. By our own fault we have lost the beautiful relationship which we once had with all your creation. Help us to see that by restoring our relationship with You we will also restore it with all Your creation. Give us the grace to see all animals as gifts from You and to treat them with respect for they are Your creation. We pray for all animals who are suffering as a result of our neglect. May the order You originally established be once again restored to the whole world through the intercession of the Glorious Virgin Mary, the prayers of St. Francis and the merits of Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ Who lives and reigns with You now and forever. Amen.
