We have designed and developed different types of particle beam sources, but we have concentrated on electron beam diodes for diverse applications. We can begin with a requirement and deliver a working particle beam injector. Development of a particle beam injector has the following four phases: conceptual design, detailed design, manufacture, and experimental development.
When you supply us with your requirements, we employ our considerable experience and the latest research to develop a preliminary design that will meet your needs. If you are not sure of your requirements, we can help you refine them. Then, we use analytical tools and computer simulations to create a conceptual diode that will satisfy your needs. Once you approve the conceptual design, we can develop a detailed design. During this process, we consider the mechanical requirements, such as size and vacuum requirements. We also consider electrical requirements, such as voltage standoff and current paths. We continually reevaluate the design using analytical methods and computer simulations.
We cannot manufacture large hardware items, but we will provide detailed design specifications for the diode. If you wish, we would hire a subcontractor to produce engineering drawings or to manufacture the hardware, In both cases, we will oversee the subcontractor to ensure you receive a quality product.
We do not have the facilities to perform large-scale experimental development. However, we can assist you at your facility. We can consult with your personnel at your facility, occasionally, to evaluate your progress, or we can direct the experiments at your facility on a full-time basis. We can also negotiate intermediate levels of involvement.
