I will review claim and underwriting files, translate insurance jargon and identify areas of opportunity. Working with counsel, I will draft original reports as well as point-by-point rebuttals of opposing expert reports.
My background includes more than thirty years in product development, underwriting, policyowner service, claims review, form design, litigation support, education and training, all in the sphere of disability insurance, in the home offices of two direct insurance companies and one reinsurance company. I have reviewed thousands of disability claims and tens of thousands of underwriting files.
I have fifteen years experience in expert litigation consulting in behalf of both plaintiffs and insurance companies in cases involving disability insurance, including consulting, drafting reports and testifying at depositions and trials. I have worked independently as a disability insurance expert witness and litigation consultant since 1999 with clients throughout the United States.
