Good Characters

Android 16

Wicked at first, Dr. Gero created A-16 for one reason: Destroy Goku. Once Cell is in his perfect form, 16 decides not to kill Goku but help him defeat Cell. He dies trying.

Android 18

Evil at first, A-18's main purpose was with A-17 to help kill everyone. That changed when Dr. Gero (A-20) created Androids 16 and 19. They were still evil but when 17 was absorbed by Cell and herself later but then spit out, she turns good. She marries Krillin and has a child named Marron.

Bulla

The second child of Bulma and Vegeta, Bulla's only appearnce in DBZ is in the last couple of episodes.

Bulma

She is a very smart character, who created the dragon radar for one. She played a very important role in the beginning of DBZ by helping out the heroes in drastic ways and throughout the series, her role started to fade. She originally dated Yamcha, but later married Vegeta and had two children: Trunks and Bulla.

Chi-Chi

Chi-Chi is Goku's wife. She meets Goku as a kid and tricks Goku into marrying her. She has two children: Gohan and Goten. Very easily tempered, she stresses the importance of education to Gohan very much.

Chiaotzu

A very weak fighter, Chiaotzu plays a big role in the start of DBZ but a little one later in the series. He is very close to Tien.

Dende

He first played a role during the Frieza saga in reviving people and making the wishes to the Namekian Dragon. When he's older, he then becomes the Guardian of the Earth.

Future Trunks

Future Trunks comes to the future to warn the Z fighters about the androids that would come soon. He easily defeated Frieza and King Cold when arriving on Earth.

Gohan

Son of Goku, Gohan helped his friends defend the Earth. When he became older, his mom wanted him to become a scholar. He did and married his high school friend Videl and had a child named Pan.

Goku

The Main Character in the DBZ saga. He saves the world many times form harm, such as from the evil Saiyans, Frieza, Cell, and Buu. He was originally sent to destroy the Earth but ended up saving it. He has two sons: Gohan and Goten and is married to Chi-Chi.

Goten

Second son of Goku, Goten looks exactly like his father as a child. He was born with Super Saiyan powers and also fuses with Trunks to help defeat Buu (which didn't quite work out as planned).

Gotenks

Gotenks is a fused form of Goten and Trunks formed during the fusion dance. He makes his appearance during the Buu Saga as a very cocky fighter.

Guru

The eldest Namek at first, Guru died of a weak heart by seeing all of his fellow

Namekians die from Frieza and his henchmen. Once he and all killed by Frieza were

wished back, he knew the time was right to say goodbye and then passed on his

powers to Moori.

Kami

Kami was the better half of Piccolo. He was once the Guardian of Earth until he joined bodies back with Piccolo.

Krillin

Goku's childhood best friend. Later when Goku becomes stronger, he plays less of a

role in DBZ. He marries Android 18 and has a child named Marron.

Majin Buu

This Majin Buu was the better half of Buu, and the fatter. He gets his goodness from

sucking up Dai Kai a long time ago. He becomes friends with Hercule and his dog,

Bee.

Moori

An elder Namekian once killed by Dodoria, Moori assumes Guru's duties as chief elder Namek and helps out the heroes of Earth throughout DBZ such as in the Buu saga helping to rewish Earth back.

Marron

Daughter of Krillin and A-18.

Mr. Popo

The assistant to the Guardian of the Earth, Mr. Popo is also like a caretaker for the lookout tower. He also helps the heroes find dragon balls at times.

Pan

Daughter of Gohan and Videl.

Piccolo

Goku's former enemy, Piccolo helps protect the world many times during the Z

timeline. He is of Namekian race, that of Dende's. He fuses with Dende's brother Nail

to become stronger and with Kami to be one again.

Tien

He has three eyes and is like a brother to Chiaotzu. He plays a slight role in DBZ, to

help defeat Nappa and the Saibamen.

Trunks

The first child of Vegeta and Bulma, Trunks helps defend the world alongside Goten. He fuses with Goten during the Buu saga to form Gotenks so they can try and beat Buu.

Uub

A good reincarnated Evil Kid Buu.

Vegeta

At first one of the bad guys, Vegeta travels to Earth in search of the dragon balls. He eventually turns good during the Cell Games. He marries Bulma and has two children: Trunks and Bulla.

Videl

Daughter of the famous Hercule, Videl attended High School with Gohan and learned how to fly from him. Eventually, she and Gohan fell in love and got married. They have a daughter named Pan.

Yamcha

Formerly a bandit, Yamcha used to be afraid of girls. He once dated Bulma and used to be a major fighter but slacked off after the Cell saga.
