The friends of Bill W. and Jesus
Have a higher power in common that they believe is Jesus Christ.
This group is simply those who share a common higher power
as well as an affiliation
with the 12 steps and AA programs
throughout America.
The group chat and message board are for the sharing of thier faith in Christ and their spirituality concerning their addiction --the 12 steps and what the AA program
is giving them toward inward growth.
We are not endorsed by AA, nor should we be.
AA is highly respectful of each individual and thier belief of a higher power.
Never is AA supposed to endorse one singular point of view.
The people at this site are affiliated with AA and show all respect to AA traditions , most of whom attend regular meetings and many have had years of sobriety.
However, they feel a need to share their Christian faith in a environment
that is not offensive to others in AA , who do not believe in the same thing. No one who is a member of AA should ever inflict their own beliefs upon others. This is not appropriate and does not serve the purpose of AA.
This is a simple group,
we only want to gather under this title to more fully share our beliefs and grow together in the Spirit of God.
God as we know Him,
in Jesus Christ.
We have provided, on our website,
some links to other helps for those of you who do not agree with us. And need to find your own unique understanding of a Higher Power.
We respect everyones freedom to discover their own beliefs in their process of recovery.
Hopefully, at least we can provide , places to go that are suitable for you and in which you may find help.
