6/20 -- From Shirley Stephens Graham: Can't make the reunion, but I've
enjoyed following the planning, web site and pictures. I'm looking
forward to seeing the yearbook. Gee, things changed. I attended the
20th reunion with my husband, Charlie, but he got sucked into the cyber
world and left our 27 year marriage about 2 years ago. Guys. . . LOG
OFF NOW!
I see by the reunion pictures that many of our class are still healthy.
My Mom and Dad still live in the same house I grew up in there in
Houston. I visit every other year - sometimes more often. Can someone
let some friends know I'd love the hear from them? Elizabeth Amelang,

6/19/01 -- "Hi" to the Class of ' 71. I hope everyone has a great time at the reunion. Wish I could be there, but a family vacation in Mexico will not allow it. I will, however, be thinking of you and promise to have at least one margarita in your honor.
Take care, Craig Moore

4/20/01 - From Bubba Stahl -- Dr. Bubba Stahl now --: Sorry, but I can't make it to this reunion. Our youngest son, Dan (22 and a senior at Hardin-Simmons Unv. in Abilene/ 1st string linebacker) is getting married that day, June 23rd. He would not understand if I told him that I would be in Houston that weekend. Also I am performing the ceremony since I am a pastor, his pastor. I pastor at First Baptist Church in Boerne, Texas. If you're ever in Boerne/San Antonio area on Sunday to be sure to come by and worship with us. We are located right by the water tower in Boerne, which is 25 miles NW of San Antonio on IH10. Our services are at 8:30 and 11:00 on Sunday morning.
4/20/01 -Hey Lee/Lamar alumni, friends and their puppies,
I finally made it to Hollywood: see following for press release on the VENETIAN CARNIVAL photo and video exhibition being presented next week at the FESTIVAL OF ITALIAN & ITALIAN-AMERICAN FILMS.
APRIL 24-28 @ THE EGYPTIAN THEATRE-HOLLYWOOD
Hey what about a masquerade party ala Venetian Carnival?
Maybe pre-or post reunion Ball (that is as in dance/party, not the horizontal mambo)? But then again maybe we don't need masks - we have all change so much - who is going to recognize who anyway.
(lol) - Laughing out Load - I love that abbreviations - Its also cool to see it spelled out!
All the best.
