Allow me to introduce myself: I once told a co-worker that I'm not sure I can make a computer sing, but I can sure make it hum. When I was nominated for a special award, the application noted that I had a history of doing exactly that, and more. As indicated on the résumé page of this web site, I am recently seperated from a major telecommunications equipment manufacturer where I provided graphic development for the Product Training Services department. I am also retired from a civil service position that I held for nearly 20 years. My specific intention is to work serve with an organization which will benefit from my talents in either a Christian or "for-profit" company providing industry "best practices" products or services. I offer strongly creative graphic development and design abilities along with recognized and award winning skills in the areas of office operations and project management, applying computer use in a management environment, and research and analysis. I have a strong background in staff training, classroom instruction, the development of promotional materials, and I also have WEB site development experience. I have used desktop publishing, database, and spreadsheet programs as tools to improve business processes, and I have also worked with a number of imaging and graphic design programs. In addition, photography and videography are avocations of mine. In fact, America's Funniest Home Videos selected the first video clip I submitted for placement for their finalist competition. Less than one half of one percent of all submissions reach that level. Throughout my career I have been recognized for my ability to learn quickly, resolve problems, and communicate effectively. I would welcome the opportunity to use my experience in a Christian or quailty orienent profit making organization. Being a Federal retiree, I have a retirement annuity and medical coverage which make my needs more modest than my years and level of experience might otherwise indicate.
