For the past eight years the visions of paintings have materialized for Mary - begging to be created and released on canvas.  She swears Pable Picasso was guiding her hand when she created her first - large as life - painting entitiled " Flamenco Passion" that is now the signature piece for the Breathergy Stretch Program.  Her background in Interior Design has given her a greater understanding of color, form and function in her artwork.  She is also an award winning artist for her painting "Afternoon Shadows".  Mary's oil paintings are in the cubist style as well as realism and surrealism through which she can explore and expand her abilities with each new piece.  She writes: "I am both proud and awed by the visions I see and am able to express on canvas".
"Apples on Satin" (SOLD) and "Pears" are both 8" x 10" framed in  large matching gold frames.
This series is called "Dancing After Midnight"
There are four paintings in the series;
Here is "Mystery" in green on the top
And "Harmony" in blue on the bottom.
This painting is 16" x 20" in a modest gold frame entitled "Morning Reflections".  On a recent painting trip Mary made with a friend, this was one of the wonderful views she saw each morning as the sun rose on Lake Burton in the North Georgia mountains.

"KOI" is one of Mary's favorite paintings.  This scene is from a friends backyard on Lake Lanier.  The Koi ponds are beautiful and the setting is so peaceful.  Enjoy the view!
20" x 24" Oil on Canvas
$375.00
Although Mary refers to this painting as "Purple Barns" the true name of this painting is "Afternoon Shadows"  and is one of her favorite for the use of color and texture in the painting.  This painting won an Honorable Mention in the Georgia Piedmont Arts Center Spring Show in April of 2001.
Oil on Canvas; framed,  20" x  24"   $275.
"Lanier Sailing" was completed in the fall of 2000.  It is one that  progressed as her skill has increased.  This painting is special to Mary because it reminds her of the many days spent with family and friends on Lake Sydney Lanier in North Georgia.
