Try this!!
Think of any number between one and ten. Multiply it by nine. Take the two digits of your total and add them together. this gives you a "new number". Subtract five from this new number. Assign a letter from the alphabet to the this smaller number. (A=1, B=2, C=3 and so on). Now think of any state in the USA that starts with that letter. Next take the second letter in that state's name and think of the name of an animal that starts with that letter.
It's not an animal you'd see in the woods in that state, is it? It's probably a big animal. Probably a grey animal. A zoo or circus animal?! Are you thinking of an elephant in Delaware?!

Place a hard boiled egg among a group of raw eggs. Give someone at your party a raw egg & ask him to spin it. Then secretly select your hard boiled egg from the batch, lay it on its side and give it a spin yourself. Your egg can be made to magically stand of end and spin like a top!!

Hold nine cards face up in your left hand. Deal them across into three columns of three cards each. Have a spectator think of a card. Ask them to tell you only what column their card is in.
Gather that column and lay it on top of another column. Place the last gathered column on top of the "spectators column". Turn the cards face down and deal them again, face up, three columns across, three in a column. Because the "thought of " card was 4th, 5th or 6th in the stack, it must now be one of the cards in the middle row. Do not call attention to this fact and it will go unnoticed.
Once again ask the spectator what column his card is in. If you gather the cards as before his card will be the fifth card. Find it with some hocus pocus for a convincing trick!
