About Me

In addition to writing as often and as well as I can, I teach for AllWriters' Workplace and Workshop and online for Writers' Digest's Writers' Online Workshops and work full-time as an advertising agency accountant.  I live in Waukesha, Wisconsin with my wonderful wife Kathie (an excellent writer and creative writing teacher), our daughter Olivia, my stepkids Christopher (when he's not at UW-Madison--Go Badgers!), Andy, and Katie (another UW Badger), our dog, three cats, four birds, and two fish.  I have  recently completed the first draft of a novel and continue to write short stories and radio drama.  No, fiction writing doesn't pay well.  If that's why I did it, I'd be in the wrong business.

AllWriters' Workplace & Workshop
