You are welcome to try the Shareware Version of MidiView free for up to 30 days. If you don't like it, simply delete the files from your disk. According to the rules for Shareware, if you continue using the program beyond the 30-day trial period, you are obligated to purchase it (only $25 ==> see Registration).

One of the things you will like about MidiView is its compact size -- only 108 kilobytes! No huge runtime files or massive DLL's are required. In other words, MidiView takes up very little space on your disk and it loads very quickly each time you use it. But despite MidiView's small size, it contains many powerful features that are unavailable in other much larger programs.

The distribution file called MIDIVIEW.ZIP includes the MidiView program, one small DLL, a detailed Help file, a sample MIDI file, and an Install utility. Total size: only 154 kilobytes, so downloading will be quick. To start, click the button below.

After downloading MIDIVIEW.ZIP, you should first use PKUNZIP or a similar program to decompress all files to a floppy disk or a temporary folder on your hard drive. Then, run the INSTALL.EXE program to copy all files to a new MIDIVIEW folder on any hard drive. Install also adds the MidiView icon to the Music program group and optionally, lets you run MidiView.

MidiView™ is protected by copyright laws and all rights are reserved by Warme Software. You are encouraged to pass along exact copies of the Shareware Version (MIDIVIEW.ZIP) to your friends, provided that you include all Shareware Version files and mention that it is Shareware, not Public Domain (free) software.

You have permission to upload the complete Shareware Version (MIDIVIEW.ZIP) to Bulletin boards, which are authorized to distribute it electronically without any fee beyond time charges. Selling (or requesting donations for) this program is prohibited, but a copying fee or distribution charge of $5 or less is permitted. Commercial distribution of MidiView alone or in combination with other programs is prohibited without written permission from Warme Software at 120 South Patterson Street, State College, PA 16801.
