MidiView

MidiView displays notes in colors based on channel, instrument, track, note
value, or volume.

Color legend indicates the colors by channel, instrument, track, note, or
volume.

While playing, a bar graph in the color legend shows the volume of each channel.

Auto-scrolls the score while playing and continuously shows score time and
tempo.

You can expand or compress the time scale or note range of the score dynamically.

Shows time and note (key) as you move the mouse over the score.

While stopped, you can scroll the music and resume playing at any position.

Plays notes at any position as you click or drag the Time cursor.

Start playback at any position with correct tempo and control settings.

Step forward or backward to the next note or event time.

List each note and/or event as text, selectable by channel.

Auto-scrolling list (600 lines) of notes, channel events, or system events.

Up to 8192 system events (text, tempo, etc; total length < 65536 bytes).

Plays notes accurately in real-time with 10 millisecond resolution.

Prescan memory (up to two seconds) prevents disruption by other programs.
