The biggest horse event around, four days of lots of horses, demos, shows and clinics and lots of shopping!

SCA Medieval Event at BDF, Aug 25-26
Annual SCA Medieval event featuring equestrian, fighting, fencing and archery.
Wear your best medieval garb. Open to the public, must be a member/authorized
to compete.

Midwest Friesians Keuring, Sat, Sept 23, 2006.
Fenton, MI. Judging of the Friesian horses by the Dutch/American judges. Possible demos following the demos if time permits. Start time either 9 or 10 am. Other details t.b.a. For further info contact me. Open to the public as usual.

North American Horse Spectacular, Nov 12 - 14, 2004:
Novi, Mi. This event has been going on for the last 10 yrs, a small but well attended event with all types of horses and equipment to buy. Midwest members and horses will be in attendance. Demos daily.
Midwest Friesian Keuring, Sept 23,2004:
Est Start time is 10 a.m. Friesian demonstrations to follow the keuring.
Midwest Friesian Keuring, Oct 2, 2003:
Just announced, the date for the keuring. EST start time is 10:00 a.m., details still forthcoming.
Equine Affaire, April 10-13, 2003:
Again we will be promoting and showing off the Friesian at one of the years prime events. More details to come.
Friesian Keuring, Sept, 21, Sat, 2002, 10:00 am start time
The annual visit from the FPS judges to view the Friesian horses. Start time is 10 a.m, til mid afternoon. Foals to adults will be judged. Any questions, please contact me.
Rare Breed Horse Show, Sept 29-30, Owosso, MI:
The annual event is back, at a new location, the Shiawasee Fairgrounds in Owosso, MI. Breeds included are Friesians, Andalusians and Lippizaners, two full days of Friesians in all types of classes. Any Friesian owner wishing to show, please contact me for further info. Entries close Sept 3.
200th Michigan State Fair, Aug 26-Sept 3, Detroit, MI:
A couple of Midwest members have been invited to present at this years State Fair.
They will be located on Hospitality Row and will be doing demos as well. Dates and
times to be determined and will be listed here. Come see us and join in the fun of the
fair at its 200th anniversary.!!
Equine Affaire, April 5-8, Columbus, OH:
This is the groups biggest event. This event draws exhibitors from all over the US, and has a show in MA and now in CA. Multiple farms will be presenting their horses over four days. For members, I possibly still have one stall available, if there is anyone interested please contact me Demo Times: Thur, 2:45.
MHS Stallion Expo, March 9-11, Lansing, MI:
Plans are being finalized for this event. The time for the Friesian demo is at 11 am
on Sat, the 10th. Come see us there, showing the Friesian off in all disciplines.
