Here is where the river widens and spills out to sea. This post is strategic, in that soldiers can watch for pirates or invading ships from other lands, or to spot ships laden with exotic goods for trade. Small islets dot the delta and the sea just beyond. Sometimes people watch for the boats carrying passengers or on their way to pick some up, as there is a sense of adventure surrounding all craft that travel over water.
