Forage
The thickets are full of creatures we never see, and some come out to feast upon plants we never see. Because of this, we could never know of this fruit, the "grope," which is named such because of its method of reproduction. Having flowers at the same time as fruit, it appears that when a creature such as this gropes for the fruit, the pollen shakes free from the flowers and wafts into the breeze.
