preamble
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
I know so many have done pages on the tradgey in America -
I would still like to keep this one as  it is with only a few changes- the memory of what has happened will remain with us always- but as we recover from this blow to our nation I want to remember WHY we are what we are and Why  those came here to start new lives and be safe in the arms of Lady Liberty: WE are a nation of many, made up from all those who came to be free: we must never let the hate that was aimed at us lessen us from still being a safe haven --a place to those who wish - to be free to fly our flag - to pray as we please - and look at the sight of the eagle in flight and give thanks for what we have: --they destroyed our buildings  they destroyed lives--
BUT they did not destroy MY AMERICA !

Located in New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty was a gift of international friendship from the people of France  to the people of the United States and is one of the most universal symbols of political freedom and democracy. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886 and was designated a National Monument on October 15, 1924. The Statue was extensively restored in time for her spectacular centennial on July 4, 1986.  I pray this is always  remembered.
AMERICA
Written by Neil Diamond

Far
We've been traveling far
Without a home
But not without a star

Free
Only want to be free
We huddle close
Hang on to a dream

On the boats and on the planes
They're coming to America
Never looking back again
They're coming to America

Home, don't it seem so far away
Oh, we're traveling light today
In the eye of the storm
In the eye of the storm

Home, to a new and a shiny place
Make our bed, and we'll say our grace
Freedom's light burning warm
Freedom's light burning warm

Everywhere around the world
They're coming to America
Every time that flag's unfurled
They're coming to America

Got a dream to take them there
They're coming to America
Got a dream they've come to share
They're coming to America

They're coming to America
They're coming to America
They're coming to America
They're coming to America
Today, today, today, today, today

My country 'tis of thee
Today
Sweet land of liberty
Today
Of thee I sing
Today
Of thee I sing
Today

Ellis Island stands as a constant reminder of our nation's immigrant history. Located a few hundred yards north of the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor, Ellis Island is a monument to the great traditions of freedom and opportunity in America. ...
