Southern Comfort is a fully air-conditioned Classic Hatteras Motoryacht. She is 61 feet in length, with over 2300 square feet of living space. Each of her 4 colorful staterooms are equipped with private head (bathroom) and furnished with all the amenities of a 5 star resort.

Main Salon

All paneling throughout is the original varnished Mahogany and Teak. The main salon is furnished with two chairs, coffee table, love seat, large sofa, wet bar with large icemaker and Sony Color TV and CD/DVD player. Southern Comfort has a "whole boat" Sony Surround Sound System, with speakers and volume controls in each stateroom and sundeck.

Aft are double doors leading to a covered deck with padded benches and sun umbrella. This quiet spot offers views of the James Island Bridge and the sailing fleet of the Charleston Yacht Club.

Galley and Dinette

Forward of the salon is a full size galley. Appliances and counter area are to port with a dinette to starboard. Fully equipped for cruising and entertaining. GE dishwasher and smooth surface electric cook-top, electric oven and microwave, coffee maker, expresso machine, blender, toaster, side by side refrigerator with icemaker, sandstone countertops and dinette.

Pilot House

Forward of the galley is the pilothouse with seating and a wonderful view of Charleston towards the Battery and Fort Sumter in the distance. Doors both port and starboard leading to the bow and forward deck. Stairs to the bridge deck topsides and stairs leading below to the cabin deck.

Crew's Quarters

Forward is the Captain's Quarters with upper and lower berths, drawers and lots of shelf space, a large hanging locker, dresser, an ensuite head with separate shower. The Captain's Quarters are a favorite with kids but are available for Berth and Breakfast Guests only at an additional charge.

Ship's Office and Library

Just aft of the Crew's Quarters you will find a large desk with computer and shelves that contain the ship's library.

Guest Stateroom

Across from the office is the Guest stateroom with single berths, Sony Color TV and plenty of storage, an ensuite head with shower and basin.

VIP Stateroom

Aft from the Guest Stateroom is the VIP Stateroom with two side by side single berths, Sony Color TV and plenty of storage, directly across the passageway is a full private head with shower.

Owner's Stateroom

All the way aft is the Owners Stateroom with centerline king size bed, port and starboard bureaus with eight drawers on each side, a mirrored vanity, eight foot deep walk-in closet with two levels. The Owner's Stateroom has a Sony TV with DVD, telephone, and desk. Aft and to starboard is the Owner's Stateroom head with basin, marble floor and full size shower and tub.

M/Y Southern Comfort is a large yacht with open and comfortable spaces. (See Deck Plans) Deck chairs, bicycles, plenty of towels, mini bar and nautical library are included for your use. Wind Surfer, Yamaha Waverunner and 15' Boston Whaler with 50 HP Yamaha Outboard Motor and water skis are available to Bahamas Charter Guests.
