PLOT SUMMARY

"Crawford marries James Stewart, and when he finds tough sledding in securing skating engagements, former conveniently nabs a stock contract. Crawford gains stardom in her first picture and Stewart goes east to generate interest and backing in his Ice Follies idea."
- Variety

NOTES

"...a series of lavishly mounted skating sequences (in Technicolor)...certainly dazzled the eye. There was very little nourishment for the mind, however..."
- Cliff Hirschhorn, The Hollywood Musical

"...as the title suggests, it's the ice show and spectacle that count, chockfull of specialties and decidedly eye-appealing. Story is only a framework. Rather light, it would have had trouble unfolding on its own for seven reels."
- Variety

Three songs for Joan Crawford were cut from the final print of the film.
