About Me and The Book

Hello! My name is Marty Penny and I am the author of A Lamb of Sacrifice and A Tale of Three Cities: From A Cop's Point of View.

I am a police officer with the City of Chattanooga (Tn) with almost thirteen years of experience in patrol and major crimes investigations. About two years ago I decided to fulfill a dream of writing a book and after four months of hard work I completed A Tale of Three Cities: From A Cop's Point of View, a recounting of my experiences as a police officer.

My second book, A Lamb of Sacrifice, tells the story of a rookie Chattanooga cop who is arrested for First Degree Murder after a deadly shoot-out with members of a violent street gang, the East 13th Street Mafia Crips.

The book centers around the rookie, Michael Lambrowski, and details the beginning of his law enforcement career after making the decision to leave the United States Army to pursue a more stable life for his family. It also gives an insight into the world and mentality of a street gang, light years apart from those of law-abiding citizens.

A Lamb of Sacrifice is currently in the editing stages with my publisher, Publish America, and will be available in the upcoming months.
