This page is to attempt to discuss many articles in the APWU and USPS Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) in an effort to explain when you may or may not have a violation of the CBA.

Of course, this is only a general rule of thump approach and we must remind the viewer that a normal violation of CBA language can sometimes turn on a word or mitigating circumstance. Each case stands alone and a good advocate or steward understands and also considers individual circumstances in each individual case and should consider how they believe a reasonable person( Arbitrator) will render a decision in each case based on the specific fact circumstances in each case before making a decision on the most advantageous approach to use in developing and filing the grievance.

THE BEST WAY TO WIN A GREIVANCE IS TO INSURE YOU USE A UNION STEWARD WHO IS TRAINED ON HOW TO DEVELOPE A CASE PROPERLY. DO IT YOURSELF AND RUN THE 99.9 % CHANCE OF LOSING THE GRIEVANCE.
