WNC Trail Information Tables--Contents

PLEASE VISIT www.mtbikewnc.com to view the rest of this site!  The new site is much better than this one, and this one is no longer updated!

These tables provide a list of 80 individual trails--well over 200 miles' worth--in the WNC area. The name, length, and difficulty are listed for each trail, and many trails also have a detailed description. The pages in this section of MTB WNC are described below; choose a page from the list at the left. To find these National Forests or any of the areas listed below in red, see the Western North Carolina Area road map.

Important Information--this page contains important information about National Forest trails in Western North Carolina.

Pisgah National Forest Trails--containing a huge amount of trails and most often just called "Pisgah", this national forest is divided up on this website by the 3 major watersheds that contain the bulk of its trails: the Bent Creek, Mills River, and Davidson River areas. There are separate trail information tables for each of these areas, as well as a table on The Coleman Boundary and Other Pisgah National Forest trails.

Nantahala National Forest Trails--contains several recommended rides that are listed in one table, and the 4 extremely popular Tsali Trails, which are listed together in a separate table.

South Mountains State Park Trails--listed in a separate table.
