Recent Performances
Harry Musselwhite has performed in three seasons with the Augusta Opera (Carmen, Bartered Bride, and H.M.S. Pinafore), The St. Louis Muny Opera, Kansas City Starlight Theatre, The Marc Blitztein Opera Company, The Southeastern Savoyards, Theatre West Virginia (over sixty performances) and others. In 1980 Harry Musselwhite was an apprentice artist with the Santa Fe Opera, making his mainstage debut there in Verdi's "La Traviata".
He made his British recital debut with concerts at St. James's at Piccadilly in London and The Holborne Museum in Bath. His recent oratorio work has included Bach's Magnificat at Wells Cathedral and Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass with the Uxbridge Choral Society in London. He has performed with the Rome Symphony Orchestra, Chattanooga Symphony, Gainesville Symphony, Valdosta Symphony, and in oratorio throughout the United States. He was a student of the late legendary Metropolitan Opera Soprano Margaret Harshaw for over a decade. Harry Musselwhite is a graduate of the famed music school at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, and he distinguished himself in its renowned opera program in leading and supporting roles.
