MY GENEALOGY PAGES
Welcome to my genealogy homepage. These pages are devoted to my family and
to genealogy in general. I plan to place my maternal genealogy here. My paternal
genealogy can be found at
Schwirian Genealogy.
I also plan to have links to searchable genealogy databases on the internet.
I have found them very useful in my search for my roots. These pages are
truly a labor of love. I will try to add as many anecdotes as possible, to
keep the pages from being boring. Please bear with me as I construct these
pages. So, sit back and relax as I introduce you to my ancestors. They are
a diverse group but very friendly :-).
I think I will begin with my Great Great-Uncle Charlie Slack. He was my Great
Grandmother's brother. He did something wonderful. Charlie wrote a journal.
Not only did he provide genealogy and stories of my family, but of his neighbors
as well. So, even if you have no blood connection to my family, you may find
your ancestors in his journal pages. I am in the process of putting his entire
journal on these pages. I also plan to include a searchable index to help
find all the people he has mentioned. This may take some time as his journal
is 176 pages long. So, keep checking back for more journal entries.
