| MATERIALS J & P Coats Luster Sheen, white or red size 1 steel crochet hook 1 one-inch white iridescent pompom sewing thread (same color as using for angel) sewing needle craft glue or a glue gun INSTRUCTIONS DRESS Ch 6; join. Rnd 1: Ch 3, 7 dc in ring. Turn. Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in first st, 2 dc in each of next 6 sts, 2 dcs in 3rd ch of beg. Ch-3 of last Rnd. Turn. : 16 dcs. Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in first st, ch 3, *skip next 2 st, 2 dc in next st, ch 3*, rep. from * to * 3 times; end with 2 dc in 3rd ch of beg. Ch-3 of last Rnd. Turn. Rnd 4: *(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in Ch-3 sp, ch 1, sc in sp between next 2 dcs, ch 1*, rep from * to * 3 times; end with (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in last Ch-3 sp, sl st in 3rd ch of beg. Ch-3 of last Rnd. Turn. Rnd 5: *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in Ch-2 sp, ch 1, sl st in sc, ch 1*, rep from * to * 3 times; end with (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next Ch-2 sp, sl st in first dc of last Rnd. Rnd 6 (this is the Right side of work): Ch 3, *(sc, hdc,dc,hdc,sc) in ch-2 sp, ch 3, sk one st, sl st in next st, ch 3, sk 3 sts, sl st in next st, ch 3*, rep from *to * 3 times; end with (sc, hdc, dc, hdc ,sc) in last Ch-2 sp, ch 3, sl st in last sl st of Rnd 4. Finish off. Weave in ends. WINGS FIRST SIDE OF WINGS Ch 8, join. Rnd 1: Ch 3, 7dc in ring. Turn. Rnd 2: Sk one sp between dcs of last Rnd, *(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next sp between dcs, ch 1, sk one sp*, rep from * to * once; end with (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next sp, sl st in 3rd ch of beg Ch-3 of last Rnd. Rnd 3 (this is the Right side of work): Ch 3, *(sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc) in next Ch-2 sp, ch 3, sk one st, sl st in next st, ch 3, sk ch-1 st, sl st in next st, ch 3*, repeat from * to * once; end with (sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc) in last Ch-2 sp, ch 3, sl st in last dc of Rnd 1. Finish off. Weave in ends. SECOND SIDE OF WINGS With Right side of First Wing facing, join with a sl st on other side of ring. Rnds 1-3: Work the same as for First Side of Wing. SEWING TOGETHER Sew dress together into a cone shape so that the Right side of work will be facing out. Sew Wings to back of dress, with Right side of Wings facing toward the front of the dress.
