AYOP
America's Youth on Parade
Nine girls and their families from Quad Cities Twirlers will be traveling to the National Baton Twirling Championshis this summer.  The competition will be held July 23-27, 2002 at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.

There's no twirling spectacular quite like AYOP.  It brings together the best baton twirlers, teams and corps in the world for a series of National and World Open Championship contests - all under one umbrella.

The girls and their families have been raising money in various ways to help cover the cost of this trip.  For many, it will be their summer vacation.  The girls are practicing harder than ever to be prepared by July.  Please support theses girls in their journey to AYOP.

The participants are:

          Tabitha Cain             Magan McNutt
          Brittney Cantrell      Tiffany Pendergrast
          Lindsay Holt             Ashley Southern
          Amy Jackson             Brittany Southern
                                              Stephenie Thompson
Congratulations to all QCT Students!  You all did a fantastic job at RECITAL!
Recital videos are in.  Pick yours up from Miss Beth.
PARENTS - Please do not forget that the girls have been practicing very hard and will be nervous and will be doing their best at all the performances.  LOUD vocal encouragement helps them with their confidence level and gets them motivated to put on their best performance!  Let's help them by letting them know that you are there and proud of them!
