June 26, 2004 - Evening
CQ'd 6M all the way up - nothing heard until almost at camp in EN76, then worked N0PB 0233z. We got a late start, so late arrival - just got the gear laid out for quick setup in morning.
June 26, 2004 - Morning EN76QD - Not greatest site, right at North edge of Hiawatha National Forest. Lots of trees - pretty flat ground
1010z On the air 6M - no response heard to CQ
1100z On the air 2M
1124z 2M Complete with W8WN - Huge pings
1233z 2M Complete with N3FZ (first heard at 1155z)
1254z 2M Complete with WB5APD (first heard at 1216 - BIG ping)
1315z switched back to 6M
1346z 6M Complete with N0PB (qsy'd to 2M)
1406z 2M Complete with N0PB
1559z 6M N5SIX - sent RRR for 12min - Complete if he received - Bruce?
Afternoon-Drove Across State - had problems with new loop for mobile - no contacts
June 27, 2004 - Evening EN57 forgot to write down last couple digits. Set up top of hill overlooking Houghton, MI at elevation 1102 ft (500ft over lake level). Great site in church parking lot (called pastor and got permission for the evening and morning runs).

1220z 2M Huge call from VE1RG - then nothing - ran to 1300 then had to go back and get family
June 27, 2005 - Afternoon - EN67BL (by popular demand - hi) Absolutely GREAT site - found spot at elev 1184ft - later found that a mile or so up road better site yet - 1332 ft - all with clear views most directions. Will definately be back there soon - STAY TUNED!!! UPDATE: NEXT TRIP AUGUST 12/13, 2004

First heard WB5APD at 1740, started calling back. Then head W8BYA with pretty strong tropo - so switched to call BYA to get out of way - hi.
1814z Complete with W8BYA
1834z Complete with WB5APD - huge hits
1848z Complete with N0PB (first heard 1748 - had all three of you guys calling!!!)
Pulled up anchor and got moving at 1900z
June 28, 2004 Evening - Back to EN76 - Time to drink beer with brother and have bon fire with family - sent out a few calls on 6M - but not many, and saw no response.
