OUR LITTLE BUCK-AROOOOOOO

  Meet Buck the Beagle... 

Buck is a very special beagle for a number of reasons.

The most obvious reason is that he is a "red and white" beagle. Buck lacks the black

saddle seen on most beagles, and his brown fur is more of a reddish color.

Buck entered our lives after a meeting at the 2001 So. Cal. Beaglefest.

Unfortunately, Buck didn't have such a good start in life. He was raised by a breeder in Arizona who had some rather unscrupulous practices.

Luckily, he found a new start when he was brought to the local Animal Control shelter. From there he was rescued by Janet at The Beagle Adoption and Rescue Center of Southern California.

At the time he was brought into rescue he had not been socialized with people, and was very dependent on the other beagles.

Here's a photo of Buck with one of his siblings. You can see just how dependent he was!

Buck has come a long way since then!

He enjoys family outings, and loves to play with our other beagle Cooper.
