10 years in the DMS installation department, beginning as a field technician and then becoming a project supervisor.

As a field technician I installed numerous DMS switches and power equipment in the C.O. environment. I am very proficient with Nortel specifications, engineering drawings, and quality requirements.

I built a solid reputation for quality installations, lack of service outages, and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Formal Nortel DMS training, and earned Regional "Northern Star Award" for excellence in work performance.

As supervisor I directed all phases of installation tasks and personnel management, worked directly with Nortel and customer engineering groups, and developed Testing Plans and Joint Acceptance Procedures.
 
 

                  Provide turn-key sales and installation services for DMS and customer premise facility installations.

                  Assist customer engineers and operations managers to plan extensions and reduce costs.
 
 

Engineer, furnish and install grey market DMS and other facilities equipment.

Perform capacity analysis and provisioning to facilitate DMS T1 and E1 XPM port additions.

Perform Supernode memory and port additions, ENET and J-NET additions, and DTE and PDTE installs.

Perform switch maintenance and cut over support, and dial into customer DMS switches to work with local technicians to identify and resolve hardware and datafill problems.

Design and install site cable racking and engineer all DC power and grounding requirements for the DMS, premise equipment, and co-locate customers, and provide long term facilities planning.

Proficient in both Nortel and Bellcore standards.
