If in Catholic churches throughout the entire world Gregorian chant sounds forth without corruption or diminution, the chant itself, like the sacred Roman liturgy, will have a characteristic of universality, so that the faithful…may experience, with much spiritual consolation, the wonderful unity
of the Church.

Canticum Novum Schola, St. Alphonsus, Baltimore

The Schola provides Gregorian Chant for the traditional Latin Mass at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Baltimore, under the auspices of the Gregorian Society of Baltimore. St. Alphonsus offers the traditional Latin Mass by indult every Sunday at 11:30 am. The Schola usually sings the first Sunday of the month, plus selected Solemnities and Feast Days. Men interested in joining the Schola, or who would like more information, should contact the director, David Sullivan.
The Schola's schedule:

June 5, 2005, Sunday in the Octave of the Sacred Heart (Third Sunday after Pentecost), 11:30 am (warm-up at 9:45). Propers with simplified Gradual and Alleluia.
