We are a new group forming in Southwestern Ohio in order to portray the life of a civil war soldier,and to educate the public of what there sacrifices were. We also hope to help in the preservation of endangered battlefields. Our goal is to not let people forget the sacrifices made by the soldiers of the Confederacy who fought and died for what many believed in.The original 28th Co. D was from Stanly county and served in the Army of Northern Virginia.
