I am a Board-certified Urologist and Attorney working nationwide on physician related legal matters. After several years in private practice, I returned to Law School at the Georgia State University School of Law where I earned a law degree. During Law School, I received a CALI award in Advanced Legal Research and was a member of the finalist team in the Georgia State Moot Court Elimination Competition. I am admitted to the South Carolina Bar, the Federal District Court of South Carolina, the Fourth Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and am a Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine. In order to legally assist you in your jurisdiction of residence, it may be necessary for me to associate with an attorney licensed in your state.

My primary legal interests include health care fraud and abuse, RICO, white collar crime, product law, medical malpractice, HIPAA issues, managed care, peer review defense, health insurance law and administrative health law. My practice also encompases criminal matters, particularly drug offenses.

I am available and enjoy addressing physician groups about medicolegal issues of concern to them. I have a particularly keen interest in peer review matters and would consider it a chief area of expertise about which I am passionate. I am also interested in assisting medical staffs and physicians personally in drafting bylaws and employment/membership contracts that asssure due process and fully comply with HCQIA. We can generally make the most headway and save your privileges if we start at the Hearing Committee level.

I am available and willing to work in any part of the country and for very reasonable fees. I typically can save you money as I seldom have to research the medical issues in given cases because I am a physician. Best of all, I do not bill for routine phone calls as I consider it my duty to keep you informed and see no reason to bill you twice for only doing the job you asked me to do in the first place. I don't see my fax machine and telephone as avenues for extra income but as the tools of my trade, put to use for your best interests.

My primary medical interests include prostate cancer and general urological oncology, urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction and minimally -invasive therapies for benign prostatic enlargement. Our practice also offers vasectomies and vasectomy reversals. We strive to provide a courteous professional environment where patients and clients are always put first.
