MARINE ACADEMY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY
From the North:
Garden State Parkway South to Exit 117. Take
Route 36 east, following signs for Sandy Hook
(approx. 12 miles). Cross the Highlands Bridge
and stay in right lane to enter park. Once in park
follow signs to Fort Hancock (approx. 5 miles).
Follow directions “Once in the Park” (BELOW).

From the South:
Garden State Parkway north to Exit 105. Take
Route 36 to end (Joline Ave.). Turn left onto
Ocean Avenue, following signs for Sandy Hook
(approx. 8 miles). Once in park follow signs for
Fort Hancock.
Follow directions “Once in the Park” (BELOW).

Once in the Park:
Drive on the main road for approximately 5 miles.
Look for the large Fort Hancock sign and tall missile
and stay to the right. The entrance to MAST
Building 77’s parking lot is the third right AFTER
the NOAA, James J. Howard Marine Lab.

DIRECTIONS TO FORSYTHE NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE

FROM THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY SOUTH
Take exit 74 (Forked River there is 25 cent toll) and head east(right) to route 9 (traveling a few miles on Lacey Road)
At the route 9 intersection turn right and head south for several miles.  You will pass the Nuclear Plant, keep traveling south until you see the Lighthouse Tavern on the right.  Immediately on the left hand side, you will see Barnegat Beach Blvd.  Turn Left on Barnegat Beach - Proceed to 7th street.  Turn right on 7th, proceed 1/4 mile and make first left.  You will see a gate (open).  Travel through gate and proceed into camp.  

FROM THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY NORTH
Take exit 69, travel east (Waretown) on route 532 (a few miles) to route 9.  Make right on route 9 (this route 9 south and continue from the directions above). You will be past the Nuclear Plant already.  Look for Lighthouse Tavern.  

FROM THE TRENTON AREA & EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA
Take 539 south through Allentown to Route 72. Make left on to 72 and stay on 72 for a few miles. Make left on to route 532 and stay on 532 past the Parkway until you reach Route 9. Take Route 9 south (Make a right). As soon as you pass the Lighthouse Tavern on the right make an immediate left on to Barnegat Beach Boulevard. At 7th Street make a right and travel 1/4 of a mile to the first left. Travel though the gate and proceed into camp.

FROM THE NJ TURNPIKE
Take exit nine to Route 18 north. From 18 north, get on Route 1 south. Make second right at College Farm Road (past Ryders Lane exit). Follow College Farm Road and turn left into Lot 98A just before the stop sign (about 1 mile). The building is across the street on the left.

FROM RT. 287
Go to exit 1, and get on Route 1 south. Go down Route 1 south until you get to the College Farm Road exit (1 mile past Route 18). Make a right on College Farm Road and turn left into Lot 98A just before the stop sign (about 1 mile). The building is across the street on the left.

FROM RT. 1 (northbound)
Go north on Rt. 1, and look for the College Farm Rd. exit approximately 1 mile north of the Route 130 junction.  It is a small exit (and not well marked), just past the DeVry Institute on the right hand side.  Follow the exit to the right, under Route 1 and past the Bristol-Myers Squibb entrance to the stop sign.  Take a left onto College Farm Rd. and turn left into Lot 98A just before the stop sign (about 1 mile). The building is across the street on the left.

DIRECTIONS TO OCEAN COUNTY VO-TECH
TOMS RIVER, NEW JERSEY

FROM NORTH AND SOUTH JERSEY
Take Garden State Parkway to exit 82 - Route 37 East (Seaside Heights exit). At the first traffic light, take the jughandle and cross Route 37. You are now on Route 166 North. At the next light, veer right at the fork. The right fork is Old Freehold Road. Procede about one mile to Ocean County Vocational School on the right. The building closest to the highway with the satellite receiver on the roof is the NJMEA meeing place.

FROM CENTRAL JERSEY AND EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA
Take Interstate 195 East to Route 571 exit. Take Route 571 East beyond the Garden State Parkway and Route 9. At he Bea Ley Golf Course make right on to Old Freehold Road. The Ocean County Vocational School is on the left.

DIRECTIONS TO NJMEA SCUBA CLUB
BENSALEM, PENNSYLVANIA

FROM CENTRAL JERSEY
Take the US Route 1 toll bridge through Trenton into Pennsylvania. Stay on Route 1 south in Pennsylvania to the Neshaminy Mall exit (Do not go onto Business Route 1).
Take the Neshaminy Mall exit. At the bottom of ramp make left. Stay on this road until it ends (the mall will be on your left). When road ends make left turn onto Neshaminy Boulevard. Stay on Neshaminy Boulevard through 2 traffic lights and 1 stop sign. After stop sign on Neshaminy Boulevard, make right hand turn onto Claridge Road. Then make immediate left onto Gilbert Drive. The Telencio's house is the 2nd house on the right (3011 Gilbert Drive).
Total mileage - 13.2 miles from toll bridge, 1.6 miles from Route 1 ramp

FROM SOUTH JERSEY
New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 6 which connects to the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Once in Pennsylvania on the turnpike take exit 28 (Route 1).
Take Route 1 North and remain in right lane. Take first exit off of Route 1 (Neshaminy Mall). Bear right off exit until the road comes to an end. Make left onto Neshaminy Boulevard. Follow directions from Central Jersey.

DIRECTIONS TO NJMEA SCUBA COURSE
NOTTINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL - HAMILTON, NJ

FROM THE JERSEY SHORE
Take Interstate 195 westbound toward Trenton. In Hamilton take Interstate 295 North. Stay on I-295 northbound for approximately 5 miles. Take Route 33 westbound toward Trenton. At first traffic light on Route 33 make left on to Klockner Road. The school is 1/4 mile on the right.

FROM WESTERN NJ & EASTERN PA
Take Interstate 95 into New Jersey. Stay on I-95 until it becomes Interstate 295. Once the highway becomes I-295 stay on it for another 3 miles to Route 33. Take Route 33 westbound toward Trenton. At first traffic light on Route 33 make left on to Klockner Road. The school is 1/4 mile on the right.

DIRECTIONS TO DUTCH SPRINGS
BETHLEHEM, PENNSYLVANIA

Take Interstate 78 to Route 22 (exit 3 - last exit in New Jersey) to Route 191 into Pennsylvania. North on Route 191 to Hanoverville Road (approximately 1 mile North o Route 22). Make left, one mile on the left is Dutch Springs.

HACKENSACK - MEADOWLANDS ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER - LYNDHURST, NJ

FROM THE NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE
Take exit 16W to Rt. 3 West. Take Rt. 3 West to Route 17 South (Lyndhurst Exit). Follow around the ramp to the traffic light (Quality Inn will be on your left). Make a left onto Polito Avenue.
Continue to the end of Polito Avenue. At the STOP sign make a left onto Valley Brook Avenue. Follow this road to the end (approx. 1 ˝ miles). Cross the railroad tracks (keep to the left). Meadowlands Environment Center is the first building on the left after the tracks. The second building houses Commission administrative offices.

FROM THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY
From the Parkway North, take Exit 153A; or from the Parkway South, take Exit 153 to Rt. 3 East. Follow Rt. 3 East to the 2nd Rt. 17 South Exit (the sign will read: Rt. 17 South/Lyndhurst - Service Road). At the end of the exit ramp there will be a traffic light, and the Quality Inn will be directly across the street to your left. Go straight through the intersection onto Polito Avenue. Continue to the end of Polito Avenue. At the STOP sign make a left onto Valley Brook Avenue. Follow this road to the end (approx. 1 ˝ miles). Cross the railroad tracks (keep to the left).
