Hey, thanks for coming to visit my music page! Coming in 1999 my first CD entitled "Hanging Out" that features Chester Thompson, Lenny Williams, Bill Champlin and many other notable Bay Area greats! All original compositions and arrangements by Mic and Julie Gillette, except for two songs that are written and sung by Eric Westphal, who performed on the Lallapalooza tour, sang on "Newvo Kids", as well as background on the "Strokeland" project. "Hanging Out" is a compilation of Latin, jazz, funk, rock and R & B and includes "If Only For A Moment", sung by Fred Ross on Strokeland Records - "Dignity" CD. We will be offering online ordering through Destiny Records soon. Newvo Kids cassette tapes will also be available through this site. Details of exact release date and sales will follow.

The Sons of Champlin - Welcome

I played in Tower of Power for 19 years and have now been with the Sons of Champlin for two years. Also, brief stints with Blood Sweat and Tears and Cold Blood. Currently appearing with the Fundamentals, a Motown/R&B band. I was fortunate enough to play on hundreds of recordings from Quincy Jones to the Rolling Stones, and finally finishing my first solo CD.
