The third Saturday in July.2006 Old South Church,Windsor,VermontFor the last several years our panel (also seminar leaders) has featured, as leaders, John Kenneth Galbraith, Dana Gioia, Ron Powers and Reeve Lindbergh. The panel was hosted by a professor from the Dartmouth English Department. The focus tends to be directed by a conference theme. For 2002 the theme was: "Writing As Therapy". The conference site, for 2006, is Old South Church , on Main Street, in the middle of Historic Downtown Windsor. This location, where it all started,is ideal for our 19th anniversary. |

OPEN TO PUBLIC... NO PREREGISTRATION $20 At The DoorFEATURES: Distinguished panelists: Poetry, Fiction and Publishing. Panel Seminars, Open Readings, Contest Awards Ceremony, Book Sales, Question & answer and browsing time. Plenty of social and networking opportunity ,Door Prizes. This "Affordable" writers conference includes refreshments and almost everything writers would experience in the usual weekend writer's conference, all in one afternoon. Reasonable hotel accomodations within easy driving distance. Registration begins at 1 PM and prompt arrival is advised. Sorry, no facilities for children or pets. Rain is no problem.

There have been many renown literary leaders who have truly built New England Writers: Over the years we were favored with Helen Nearing, Karen Hess, David Budbill, Lyn Lifshin, Sue Walker, Vivian Shipley, Joan Conner, Alice Fogel, John Kenneth Galbraith, Dana Gioia, Wesley McNair, Ron Powers and Reeve Lindbergh. Be the Lord willing, this wonder may continue. |
