FUTUREX is the band. When the FUTUREX show is over, there are only two types of people: The people who saw it and the people who heard about it.
One short month after the enthusiastic members of FUTUREX came together in August of 1993, they tantalized their first concert crowd. FUTUREX has since presented a line of seventeen different self-marketed items including posters, programs, stickers, CD's, Cassettes, studio demos, home video press kits featuring many FX music videos, and X-etera. After a succession of performances and several X-tatic magazine reviews, FUTUREX is hungry for more.
Working with Emmy Award Winning Brad Carvey (brother of Dana), the band has completed a new computer rendered 3-D video for the FUTUREX original, MIC Award winning song, "Lost In The Rain." A special version of the song appears on the New Mexico Rock Coalition (NMRC) CD.
Lead guitarist/song-writer/vocalist/bassist, Christopher Bach, and lead drummer/song-writer/vocalist, Andy Romero, have played together since 1987 and have an unmatched bond and chemistry. The duo recorded, released and marketed a full length album prior to the birth of FUTUREX on which blues legend, Bo Diddley, made an X-clusive appearance.
Lead guitarist/song-writer/vocalist/bassist, Steve Romero appeared on the album as well. He has rocked with Chris since even earlier & has periodically made music with his comrades as well as performed numerous shows across the region in his own bands.
Vocalist/song-writer/lead bassist/guitarist, Neil Gido, also has an independent album released. Additionally, three Gido originals, two of which he personally performed, appear on an internationally distributed compilation along with tracks by Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper & Deep Purple. Two distinctive Gido penned performances have also been released regionally on another collection.
Neil & Steve also write, direct, produce, star in & edit an hour long weekly show on cable television entitled, "Gido-Blaster & The Habitual Offenderz!" It's a rock variety spectacle for grown-up kids and channel surfers on which the other band members occasionally appear and perform on as well. National bands with X-clusive interviews and footage is included, as are local events & personalities, international coverage, comedy, outrageousness and even a mini-series.
The creative musical talents that are FUTUREX, emphasize the live show with a barrage of un-X-pectable stage antics and a twist of humor, culminating into an array of sight and sound, unleashing an attitude and tradition that rock and roars well into the 21st century!
