Williamsport Lakes are located on Highway 50, approximately ten miles west of Columbia, two miles east of the Natchez Trace Parkway.
We have six lakes at our location, 2 are observatory lakes, and 4 fishing lakes.
Blue Cat Lake- 80 acres
Shellcracker Lake- 46 acres
Goldeneye Lake- 12 acres
Whippoorwill Lake- 24 acres
Whippoorwill Lake is our childs lake, for 16 and under.
Special regulations apply to individual lakes, please sign in at the lake office before visiting our lakes.
Fishing facilities- Boat ramps, fishing piers, picnic areas
Restrooms and concessions are available at the lake office. We have snacks, drinks and sandwiches.

There is a $ 3.00 a day fishing permit fee for anyone between the ages of 16 and 65, in addition to your Tennessee fishing license. We sell license and permits at the lake office. Children between the ages of 13 and 15 require a Tennessee Junior Hunting and Fishing license but no fishing permit is required for that age group.

We rent boats by the day, $5.00 + tax. We provide life jackets and paddles for each boat. Trolling motors may be used if you would like to bring your own. No gas powered motors are allowed.

Species found- Largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, blue and channel catfish. We also have cherokee bass( hybrid stripe). Creel regulations for our lakes is listed in the 2001 Fishing regulation hand book on page 18.
